The Board recommends a special assessment vote on Phase 1 of the Master Plan in the amount of $1.1M, to be paid in cash (not debt) by members over a two-year term (8 quarterly payments). An official Notice of Special Meeting and a complete voting package will be distributed via email and regular mail no later than Friday, December 23rd.
There's an addition of sorts happening with the Park City Museum. It's in Prospector, and will be a brand new building that features expanded archives for all things "historical" in Park City. The Main St location will remain as well.
As part of a community effort to reduce energy consumption, the Grub Steak changed all their lighting to LED.
"In The Zone- Skiers Massage Advanced Bodywork" is now being offered at Living Energy Center,1662 Bonanza Drive Suite 2A - next to the Park Record Building in Prospector Square.
Beginning June 26, crews will start work improving the the entrance to Prospector Square. The corner of Bonanza Drive and Prospector Avenue is a key entrance point to the district and planned landscaping and sign improvements will highlight the area and welcome those visiting the neighborhood.
After 26 years at their 1910 Prospector Avenue location, the Park City Chamber and Visitor Bureau has moved. The Chamber recently moved to a new Prospector Square location at 1895 Sidewinder Drive.
Along with her husband Houman Gohary and two daughters, Blanca Gohary has lived in Park City since 1999. The duo opened their highly acclaimed restaurant, Good Karma, in 2006.
